HelpHow ToHow to use your Personal Calendar:You must be a member to access this feature: To view the current list of events posted to your Personal Calendar or to add an event, click on the MyLDRC tab and select "Calendar". Personal Calendar entries are only available to the member who posted them. The MyLDRC Personal Calendar serves as a personal day-timer or organizer, displaying all LD events you plan on attending (or have attended), as well as your personal appointments or meetings. Text links also allow you to view the calendar for the previous month as well as next month's events. To view a full list of events you are scheduled to attend on a particular day, click on that day's date. Click on a specific title to view a detailed description of that particular event. A message at the bottom of each description indicates which events you plan to attend. To remove an event from your personal calendar, simply click the text link "Cancel Attendance" and you will be returned to the Community Events calendar. Add Personal Entry: Selecting this link allows you to record personal entries in your personal calendar. Entry fields include the date, time, subject, and any personal notes you would like to make to yourself. After typing in the appropriate information and selecting the "Submit" button, the text entered in the "Subject" field will appear in red on the calendar. Personal entries are only viewable by the member who entered them. Add Community Event: Members also have the ability to add an event of their own to any month from 2001 to 2005 and have it posted to the LDRC Community Event calendar. Adding an event is a four-part process. Step 1 collects the start and end date information, the event name and a brief description, contact information (optional) and a series of checkboxes to indicate the topic(s), topic type(s), and target group(s) for this particular event. Step 2, 3, and 4 identifies the country, province/state, and city in which the event is being held. Community events are viewable by all community members. |
