How to submit and edit Directory listings:

There are a number of different ways to access the directory of LD-related organizations. Click on the text link "Directory" located in the navigation menu on the right-hand side of each page and then select a category to view the organizations listed under that grouping. The listing of organizations can also be accessed by clicking on the "Community" tab and then selecting "Directory" from the navigation bar.

You must be a member to add an organization to the directory:

From the main Directory page, members can add an organization via the "Add Listing" link located in the navigational menu on the right-hand side of the page. Selecting the "Add your Organization to the Directory" link on the Directory home page will also launch the submission form. From the MyLDRC home page, members can view, edit, and add to the list of organizations they've submitted via the "Directory Listing" link under MyLDRC "Edit Contents" Tools.

To add an organization to the directory you may enter information in the following fields:

• Organization Information (mailing address, email address, Web site, etc.)
• Service Type
• Ages Served
• Regions Covered
• Fees
• Referral Procedures
• Services Provided
• Comments
• Topics to aid searches

Fields left blank will not be displayed in the listing. Be sure to select keyword, categories, or topics from the five topic menus at the bottom of submission form. The terms in these menus are used to sort information in various ways. Choosing appropriate topic keywords will improve the likelihood of your listing be found, and it allows us to group directory listings with related Articles, Projects, and Events for visitors looking for particular information on particular topics. Choose your topic keywords carefully. This list of topics is dynamic and grows as members suggest new topics through the Articles submission form. You may suggest new topics, using the "Contact Us" form, found throughout the site, or check back periodically using the Edit Contents tool in the MyLDRC submenu to update topic keywords associated with the Article, Projects, Directory Listings, and Events you have submitted.

When entering your organizations address into the Street Address field, please use the following format:

Provide the city, province, postal code, phone, fax, and tty in the fields that follow. Include any additional address information in the Additional Information area near the bottom of the form.
