How to Join:
There are five steps in becoming an LDRC member.
Step 1 - Choosing a login name
This information is used to access the LDRC each time you visit the site. Your LDRC login name can be made up of letters, numbers, and underscores, or a combination of these. A login name must not exceed 12 characters, include spaces or contain special characters (excluding underscore). Your membership status and password information will be confirmed via email. A checkbox allows you to keep your email address private (recommended). You also have the option of including personal information such as your name, group affiliation and home page URL but are not required to do so. This information may be edited later using "Profile" in the MyLDRC submenu.
Step 2 to 4 - Location
Steps 2 to 4 identify your country, province or state, and city by offering selections from three dropdown menus. Each selection you make helps to define subsequent menu choices. For example, if you select Canada as the country in which you reside, the dropdown menu for province/state will be limited to Canada's ten provinces and three territories. Similarly, your choice of province or territory will automatically limit the cities listed in the dropdown menu to that particular region of the country. This information is used to sort resources based on the region a member lives in.
Step 5 - Demographics
This final section is completely optional and enables us to gather pertinent demographic information about our membership. Individual members' demographic information is not displayed anywhere on the LDRC site. Member demographics as a whole are available in a number of place throughout the site.
