How to use Who's On:
You must be a member to use this tool. Though you can view a list of "Who's On" as a guest user, links within the page will be inactive. Who's On can be accessed through the link in the menu on the right, or by clicking on the "Community" tab, and selecting Who's On from the community submenu. For browsers that support accesskeys, Who's On can be accessed by keyboard with "Alt 0".
The Who's On link in the right menu displays the number of users currently using the site. The Who's On page breaks that number down to the number of members and the number guest users on the site, and displays a list of members who are currently viewing the site. Members remain listed until they logout, or have been inactive for 45 minutes.
- Click on the member's username to send an email message using your system's default email program.
- Click on "profile" to view a member's personal information.
- Click on "page" to call a member to the Chat room. When this link is clicked, the paged member will see their login message at the top right of the screen change, indicating that another member has invited them to the chat room. Clicking on the message will take that member to the Chat login. For the member who has paged another, the paged member's listing on the Who's On page will be hi-lighted. When the paged member enters the chat room, the listing will return to normal type. Reload or Refresh to see these changes occur.
- Click on "send message" to leave a message for another member to retrieve later from their personal mail box.
- To hide yourself from the Who's On page, check Invisible mode on your Profile page.
