Privacy Policy

At the LDRC, privacy is of utmost concern, and thus we have made every effort to create a web site that protects the privacy of all members who wish to remain anonymous. While membership information is made available to administrative staff for security reasons, all personal information can be hidden from other community members by choosing the "invisible mode" when joining. The LDRC administrative staff will use member information to protect members from unwanted solicitations and/or inappropriate content; those who infringe upon the privacy of others will be barred from using the web site.

At no time will the LDRC share, rent or sell its membership list except with permission. Information submitted may be used internally or aggregated with other information to gain a better understanding of who our members are, but if this is done, the privacy and personal information of each individual member will be held in confidence.

The LDRC will use the contact information provided to notify members of periodic updates and additions to the web site only if the "mailing list" box is checked upon joining. If at any time you wish to be removed from this list, simply uncheck the "mailing list" box on your "profile" page.

Because of the nature of the web site, and the fact that the LDRC cannot assess or uphold the integrity of every individual member, neither ATRC, LDRC nor their respective sponsors or partners takes responsibility for guarding the privacy of any personal information disclosed on the web site. When members log in, any personal information exchanged between the member and the server is conducted through PHP-encrypted session variables. Session variables are passed from page to page and allow members to customize the site to their own personal preferences. If the member disables "cookies" in his or her browser, the encrypted variable string will appear attached to the end of the URL in the browser's location or address field. While the likelihood that these session variables will ever be decoded is small, the LDRC cannot guarantee that this will never happen.

The LDRC will disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) conform to the requirements of law or comply with governmental or court orders or legal processes served on the LDRC; or to (ii) protect and/or defend the property or rights of the LDRC.

The LDRC web site contains links to other web sites which are operated by parties other than the LDRC and which likely have privacy policies that differ from that of the LDRC web site. The LDRC is not, in any way, responsible for personal information disclosed on any linked web sites.

The LDRC retains the right to modify this policy at any time.

If you have any questions or concerns about the protection of your privacy or personal information on our web site, please click on Contact Us in order to send us an email.
